Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure
An exciting opportunity exists for a Civil Engineer to join our client's growing engineering team in Bloemfontein. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for delivering sustainable water infrastructure projects and driving excellence in water demand management and conservation initiatives.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead the delivery of water engineering construction projects from planning through to completion.</li><li>Coordinate pressure management and network zone projects, including the installation of bulk water meters, pressure reducing valves, and related infrastructure.</li><li>Deliver technical input on water conservation and Non-Revenue Water programmes.</li><li>Prepare feasibility studies, engineering reports, and project proposals.</li><li>Manage procurement processes, contract documentation, and project administration.</li><li>Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.</li><li>Work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.</li><li>Utilise AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and engineering software to support project execution.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering.</li><li>At least 5 years' experience in civil engineering, preferably within the water sector.</li><li>Practical knowledge of water demand management and water conservation projects.</li><li>Experience administering contracts under SAICE, GCC, and FIDIC frameworks.</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office proficiency; WADISO experience will be beneficial.</li><li>Valid South African driver's licence.</li><li>ECSA registration is advantageous.<br><br></li></ul>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<br><br>Submit your CV to engineering.jobs@tumaini.co.za or call 021 551 2621.<br><br>Visit our website for more exciting career opportunities: https://tumaini.co/
