The Opportunity

SingleStore is seeking an accomplished, strategic, and execution-oriented sales leader to serve as SVP, Americas Sales. This executive will own the Americas go-to-market motion across Enterprise, Commercial, and Strategic segments, with leaders and teams rolling up to this role.

The SVP, Americas Sales will be accountable for growth across new logo acquisition, expansion, forecast performance, and long-term customer value. This leader will set the operating rhythm for the Americas sales organization, develop a high-performing leadership team, and partner closely with the CRO and cross-functional executives to scale a predictable, value-led revenue engine.

This is an opportunity to shape the next phase of SingleStore’s growth while helping customers modernize their data environments and build the foundation for real-time applications and AI-driven initiatives.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Americas sales strategy and revenue plan across Enterprise, Commercial, and Strategic segments.
  • Translate company priorities into clear regional goals, coverage models, account strategies, resource plans, and execution priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Americas sales leadership team, creating clarity of ownership and consistent standards across segments.
  • Build a culture of accountability, urgency, customer obsession, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive new logo acquisition, strategic account growth, cross-sell, expansion, and durable customer relationships.
  • Establish a disciplined operating cadence for pipeline creation, opportunity progression, deal inspection, forecasting, territory planning, and performance management.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and create clear visibility into risks, opportunities, conversion rates, coverage, and performance against plan.
  • Guide the organization through complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise transactions and ensure strong executive engagement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Sales Engineering, Value Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to improve the full customer and revenue lifecycle.
  • Strengthen value-based and consultative selling practices, ensuring teams connect SingleStore’s technology to measurable business outcomes and the cost of inaction.
  • Develop executive relationships with customers, prospects, partners, and industry influencers across the Americas.
  • Support strategic opportunities directly, including executive sponsorship, account planning, negotiation, close strategy, and customer relationship development.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Development to improve ICP focus, pipeline quality, campaign alignment, and conversion from demand to qualified opportunity.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance on territory design, capacity planning, compensation effectiveness, reporting, and business planning.
  • Identify organizational gaps and build the talent, structure, processes, and enablement needed to scale the Americas business.
  • Represent SingleStore externally with credibility and serve as a senior voice of the customer internally.

What You Bring
  • 15+ years of enterprise software, cloud, data infrastructure, SaaS, or related technology sales experience.
  • 10+ years in progressive sales leadership roles, including responsibility for multiple teams, segments, or geographies.
  • Proven success leading and scaling enterprise sales organizations across new logo, expansion, and strategic account motions.
  • Experience managing through sales leaders and building high-performing, distributed teams.
  • A track record of delivering revenue growth in complex, multi-year, consultative sales environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology buyers and data-driven transformation, including areas such as databases, analytics, cloud infrastructure, AI, distributed systems, or data platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell business value to C-suite and senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and inspection processes.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on engagement in critical deals and business decisions.
  • Experience partnering effectively across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
  • A builder’s mindset, high standards, sound judgment, and willingness to operate in a fast-moving environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the Americas for customers, partners, team engagement, and company events.

SingleStore’s base salary range for this role, if based in Boston, Chicago, New York, Austin, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle, Washington, or Dallas is: $200,000 -  $300,000 USD per year
