<\/span><\/span><\/span>Contract:<\/span><\/b> 6 months with strong potential of extension to be longer<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Location:<\/span><\/b> This is remote but they will need to be able to support working on EST or CST time zones from wherever they live.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>MUST HAVE:<\/span><\/b> GeoSCADA and architecture experience, this is a SENIOR role<\/b><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>We are seeking a talented Digital Solutions Architect to join our team and take charge of designing, developing, and deploying cutting\-edge industrial automation software solutions. As a Digital Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for creating robust and scalable software architectures that meet the specific needs of our clients and drive innovation in the industrial automation space.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>The ideal candidate is familiar with systems integration using a variety of technologies. It is not expected that they will have experience with all of them. A motivated and self\-driven candidate with a background in a variety of industrial automation technologies will be the best fit. Innovative technologies may emerge as the Client and AVEVA software portfolios continue to grow.<\/span>

What will you do?<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Design and develop SCADA systems using various software suites, including Client Geo SCADA, AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform, AVEVA (Wonderware) Historian, AVEVA (OSI) PI, Ignition SCADA, etc.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Configure and program SCADA software to monitor and control various industrial processes, such as manufacturing, energy, mining, and utilities.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and develop solutions that align with their needs.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead a project team consisting of multiple engineering members of the Digital Solutions team, breaking down high level deliverables into work tasks and ensuring these deliverables meet quality standards.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Mentor and coach other engineering members for the Digital Solutions team.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA software and related components such as PLCs, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Integrate SCADA systems with historians (e.g., AVEVA PI, AVEVA Historian) for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting purposes.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop custom scripts using scripting languages (e.g., .NET, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, etc.) to enhance system functionality and performance.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure the accurate functioning of SCADA systems, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform system upgrades and modifications, adhering to industry best practices and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide technical support and guidance to end\-users, troubleshooting system issues, and offering timely resolutions.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate in training to stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in SCADA technologies.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven experience as a SCADA Architect, with a focus on Client Geo SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA PI, and Ignition SCADA.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Expertise with various SCADA architectures, data modeling, and integration with other PLC\/RTU\/SCADA systems.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX).<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with system integration using a variety of data access, including OPC DA\/UA, Modbus, DNP3, JSON, REST, and XML.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to create SQL databases to capture data streams and custom SQL queries\/logic.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Create or modify PLC programs using Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, and Ladder Logic.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with self\-managing multiple project priorities and deliverables.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaboration with project management and an assigned project team of engineers.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience creating and modifying SCADA\/HMI screens, alarms, and reports.
Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites as required<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Travel is roughly expected to be around 25% but is dependent on customer and project needs.<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

Rarely will require travel and will know ahead of time, most travel will be shared with FTEs.<\/span><\/b>
