About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Procurement Manager to lead their procurement functions from anywhere within the US. This is a fully remote position where you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across various spend categories. You will leverage technology and strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, ensuring the efficient and ethical acquisition of goods and services vital to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for a diverse range of indirect and direct materials and services. Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and service levels. Manage and develop a portfolio of key supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and performance improvement. Analyze spend data and market intelligence to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and legal, through virtual channels. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management. Proven track record of successfully leading sourcing initiatives and negotiating complex contracts. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional virtual communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience with e-procurement tools and managing remote teams.
